Marilyn Burns isn't a household name. Except for one role, her filmography is pretty sparse. However, that one role is iconic to horror fans; Sally Hardesty, the protagonist in Tobe Hooper's
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974). While not exactly a dynamic role - she spends much of the film running and screaming - she did give a spirited performance. Unfortunately, she died this week, age 64.
