Happy Trailers - Ouija (2014)

So, the trailer for Ouija, a new horror film about a haunted Ouija board is out. It looks awfully familiar. But how can that be? Oh, right, Witchboard. Wow, they can't rip off something better than that? At least Witchboard had Tawny Kitaen (at right) in her prime. What can you offer me Ouija?

By the look of the trailer, not much. It just looks like another generic ghost story. Do we really need more of those? There are a lot of creative horror films coming out. An example is a film I recently reviewed Banshee Chapter. Seeing the trailer for Ouija, however, is enough to tell me what this movie will be; a little rubber reality, some jump scares, some generic actors getting killed and, by the time credits roll, viewer boredom.
