Good News For Horror Fans - Nightbreed: Director's Cut Coming Out In October

Don't look so glum; you're getting a special edition.

Scream Factory (Shout! Factory's horror film arm) is coming out with the director's cut of Nightbreed in October. While the theatrical release is an ambitious failure, a narrative mess with some neat visuals, what I've read about the director's cut makes me hopeful that it will be an improvement. With 40 minutes of new footage and a re-organized narrative, the film will finally be seen the way Clive Barker wanted it. Whether that will make for a better film remains to be seen.
